Who is responsible

Soeling, Motithang, Thimphu, Bhutan, is responsible for the personal information described here. Pema handles planning enquiries.

What the forms collect

The journey request collects your name, email address, when you hope to travel, and any party size, experience, or referral source you choose to add. The guide request collects a first name and an email address. The advisor note collects a name, an agency, an email address, and any network or client brief you choose to add. The guide opens right after the request is sent. A personal note from the office follows by email. The forms are delivered by FormSubmit.

Each submission also includes the page you sent it from. When this browser has them, it includes the first and last campaign labels from links you opened: source, medium, campaign, content, and term, plus the referrer and the landing page. Those labels are stored in local storage on your browser so a later form on this site can include them. This is functional storage. It does not depend on the optional analytics choice, and it is not advertising. You can clear it by clearing site data for soeling.com. A Meta click identifier is included only if you have allowed advertising measurement.

Vercel Web Analytics

soeling.com uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It loads with every page. It does not use cookies. It does not receive your name, email address, telephone number, or the text of your enquiry. When a journey request or an advisor note is sent, it may also receive a cookieless event named generate_lead. When a guide is requested, it may receive a cookieless event named sign_up. Those events name the form only. This measurement is separate from Google Analytics and from optional advertising measurement.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is used to understand visits. It loads on each page and receives the page path, limited interaction events, browser and device information, and approved campaign labels. A sent journey request or advisor note can record generate_lead. A WhatsApp click can record whatsapp_click. A sent guide request can record sign_up. Opening the guide can record guide_download. Opening the advisor fact sheet can record advisor_factsheet_download. Query strings and page fragments are removed from the page location we send. Your name, email address, telephone number, and enquiry message are not sent to analytics. The tag may set _ga cookies. Turning site analytics off stops further collection and removes those cookies from that browser where possible.

Optional advertising measurement

Meta advertising measurement is a separate choice. It stays off unless the service is configured and you allow it. FormSubmit, Google, Meta, and Vercel process information under their own terms.

How the enquiry is used

Soeling uses the form to reply, to plan a journey if you accept a proposal, and to keep the records that work requires. Soeling does not sell personal information. Correspondence is kept as long as needed to reply, plan, keep business records, or meet a legal obligation.

Your choice

You can reopen privacy choices from the footer. You may ask Soeling to provide, correct, or delete the personal information held about you, or to stop further notes. Say that it is a privacy request.
